Can You Create – Buyer Terms & Conditions

By browsing, submitting a request, or purchasing through Can You Create (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to the following terms.
1. Marketplace Role
Can You Create is a marketplace that connects buyers with independent creators.
We do not create, manufacture, ship, or fulfill products listed on the platform.
Each listing is managed and fulfilled by the individual creator.
2. Custom & Handmade Nature of Products
Many items on Can You Create are custom-made or handmade, which means:
- Items may vary slightly from images shown
- Production timelines can differ by creator
- Custom items may not be eligible for returns or refunds
Buyers acknowledge and accept these characteristics when placing an order.
3. Orders & Payments
- Payments may be processed through the platform or directly with creators, depending on the listing
- Prices, timelines, and deliverables are set by the creator
- Orders are considered accepted once payment is completed
4. Custom Requests & Approvals
When submitting a custom request:
- Buyers are responsible for providing accurate details, specifications, and approvals
- Changes requested after approval may result in additional fees or delays
- Once work has begun, refunds may not be available
5. Shipping, Delivery & Pickup
Creators are responsible for:
- Shipping timelines and methods
- Local delivery or pickup arrangements (if offered)
- Providing tracking information when applicable
Can You Create is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or delivery issues.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Refund and cancellation policies are set by individual creators.
In general:
- Custom or personalized items may be non-refundable
- Buyers should review listing details carefully before purchasing
- Refund requests should be directed to the creator
We may assist with communication but do not guarantee outcomes.
7. Disputes & Resolution
If an issue arises:
- Buyers should contact the creator directly first
- If unresolved, Can You Create may assist with mediation at its discretion
- We reserve the right to take action in cases of repeated complaints or misuse
8. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers agree to:
- Communicate respectfully with creators
- Provide timely approvals and responses
- Review listing descriptions, timelines, and policies before purchasing
Abuse, harassment, or fraudulent activity may result in account suspension.
9. Intellectual Property
Buyers may not reproduce, resell, or commercialize custom designs unless explicitly permitted by the creator.
10. Limitation of Liability
Can You Create is not liable for:
- Product quality, defects, or delays
- Disputes between buyers and creators
- Losses arising from creator performance or fulfillment
Use of the platform is at your own risk.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Buyer Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

By creating a creator account, submitting listings, responding to custom requests, or selling through Can You Create (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to these Creator Terms & Conditions.
1. Platform Role
Can You Create is a marketplace that connects buyers with independent creators offering custom and handmade products or services.
Creators operate as independent contractors. Can You Create does not manufacture products, fulfill orders, guarantee outcomes, or act as a party to any agreement between buyers and creators.
2. Creator Accounts
Creators are responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate account, contact, and payment information
- Securing their login credentials
- Ensuring all listings, offers, pricing, and descriptions are accurate and truthful
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Listing Fees & Packages
Listings on Can You Create are paid.
Current listing packages include:
- 1 listing – $5
- 5 listings – $8
- 10 listings – $10
All listing fees are charged at checkout and are non-refundable, except where required by law.
4. Listing Duration
Each listing is published for 30 days from the date it goes live.
At the end of the 30-day period, listings may expire and require renewal or the use of an additional listing credit to remain active.
5. Listing Credits & Bundles
When purchasing a listing bundle:
- Each published listing uses one listing credit
- Unused listing credits remain available in the creator dashboard
- Listing credits do not expire until used
Example:
If a creator purchases 10 listings and publishes 1, their dashboard will show 9 available listings.
6. Listing Review & Marketplace Standards
Submitting a listing does not guarantee approval.
We reserve the right to review, approve, reject, edit, suspend, or remove listings that:
- Violate these terms
- Contain prohibited or misleading content
- Do not align with marketplace standards or curation goals
7. Creator Responsibilities
Creators are solely responsible for:
- Product quality, accuracy, and fulfillment
- Production timelines and communication
- Shipping, delivery, or local pickup (unless otherwise stated)
- Customer service, issue resolution, and compliance with applicable laws
8. Orders, Payments & Payouts
- Pricing, timelines, and fulfillment terms are set by the creator
- Payments and payouts may be processed through third-party providers
- Creators are responsible for providing accurate tax and payment information
Can You Create is not responsible for payment delays caused by third-party processors.
9. Cancellations, Refunds & Disputes
Creators must clearly state their refund and cancellation policies within their listings or offers.
- Listing fees are non-refundable once a listing credit is used
- Custom or personalized orders may be non-refundable
- Creators are expected to communicate clearly and act in good faith
We reserve the right to assist with mediation or take corrective action in cases of repeated disputes.
10. Custom Requests, Offers & Project Acceptance
Can You Create allows buyers to submit custom project requests and creators to respond with offers. Can You Create is not a party to any agreement formed between buyers and creators.
Offers
Creators may submit offers in response to buyer requests. Offers must clearly state the scope of work, price, timeline, and deliverables.
Offers are non-binding until:
- The buyer accepts the offer, and
- Payment is completed.
Creators are responsible for ensuring all offer details are accurate and achievable.
Acceptance & Binding Agreement
Once an offer is accepted and payment is completed, a binding agreement is formed directly between the buyer and the creator.
Upon acceptance, creators agree to:
- Fulfill the project as described in the accepted offer
- Begin work within a reasonable timeframe
- Communicate promptly regarding progress, delays, or issues
Can You Create does not guarantee project outcomes and is not responsible for creator performance.
Changes After Acceptance
Any changes to scope, timeline, or pricing after acceptance:
- Must be mutually agreed upon by both buyer and creator
- May result in additional fees or timeline adjustments
- Must be approved before work continues
Creators are not obligated to accept changes that materially alter the original agreement.
Inability to Complete a Project
If a creator is unable to complete an accepted project, they must notify the buyer as soon as reasonably possible and act in good faith to resolve the issue.
Repeated failure to complete accepted projects may result in account review, suspension, or termination.
Payments & Completion Approval
Payment release may require buyer confirmation that the project has been completed in accordance with the accepted offer. Creators acknowledge that payout timing may depend on buyer approval or platform processes.
Disputes
Creators agree to attempt to resolve disputes directly with buyers. Can You Create may assist with mediation at its discretion but is not obligated to resolve disputes or guarantee outcomes.
We reserve the right to take action in cases of repeated disputes, misuse, or conduct that harms marketplace trust.
11. Intellectual Property
Creators affirm that they own or have the right to use all content, designs, images, and materials included in listings or offers.
Creators grant Can You Create a limited, non-exclusive license to display listing content for marketplace and promotional purposes.
12. Prohibited Content
Creators may not list or offer:
- Illegal, stolen, or counterfeit goods
- Infringing or unauthorized designs
- Hate speech, explicit, or harmful content
- Misleading or deceptive listings or offers
13. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate creator accounts for violations of these terms, repeated disputes, or actions that harm marketplace integrity.
Unused listing credits may be forfeited in cases of serious violations.
14. Limitation of Liability
Can You Create is not liable for:
- Lost profits, delays, or fulfillment issues
- Buyer-creator disputes
- Creator business operations or performance
Use of the platform is at your own risk.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Creator Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
